Daniel Ebersole of Eden is pictured here with his creation (note the fire extinguisher on the running board).
"I do a lot of toys," he said. He's built two of the 1913 Model-T replicas and three International Harvester 1905 pick-ups. He builds them around golf carts that run on a battery of six 6-volt cells. Ebersole said he designs and constructs the woodwork that encases most of the cart working from photos of the real vehicle; the metal fenders and other trim are fabricated by a metal worker. The wheels are those temporary tires that are in your car's trunk (glad someone found a good use for them; I miss the real spare tires!)
He goes to trade shows and also rents them to fire companies for parades and carnivals. Definitely an eye-catcher!
